Rechargeable Li-Ion battery LIR2032

This rechargeable Li-Ion battery type LIR2032 has a nominal capacity of 40mAh at a voltage of 3.6 to 4.2 Volts. The battery can be used with the ChameleonMini RevG and fits into the battery holder. It allows for a maximum operating time (emulation mode with LEDs switched off) of approx. 80 minutes. The cell is automatically re-charged whenever the ChameleonMini is connected to a USB port or power supply. The charging resistor of our ChameleonMini is chosen such that the LIR3032 needs approximately 2h of loading. To avoid long loading times, the resistor R4 can be replaced. For the LIR2032 a 27 kOhm resistor can be used to reduce the loading time to 1h. Please refer to 170102_Chameleon_Battery_Upgrade for detailed instructions.

Attention: Do not confuse this battery with a non-rechargeable Lithium cell CR2032 with a voltage of 3V! A CR2032 is not suitable for powering ChameleonMini.
